For Teachers
Water is Western Colorado's most vital resource. By educating both adults and children about water, we can can ensure that this and future generations will learn to respect the value of water and continue to use water carefully and wisely.
Teachers can find information for K-12 lesson plans, experiments and other classroom materials to assist in teaching a water-oriented curriculum. Check out Water: The Key to Life, a 24-minute video about the value and uses of water in Western Colorado produced by the Colorado River District and available at no cost.
The Colorado River Water Conservation can provide other resources that you may need for your research or lesson plans. Please contact us at as we'd be happy to assist you!
